Regent College London and Zoe Immersive: A New Chapter for Higher Education

Higher education never stands still. Universities race to keep students engaged, connect theory with practice, and prepare graduates for a digital-first world. At Regent College London, that future doesn’t sit on the horizon; it’s already here, and it’s interactive

Learning that feels alive

Step into an Engineering or Computer Science lecture and you’ll see something unusual. Students aren’t just taking notes. They’re slipping on headsets, exploring problems in 3D, and experiencing lessons instead of only hearing about them.

These sessions run on the Zoe App and last about ten minutes. Short enough to slot into a lecture. Long enough to turn abstract concepts into moments of discovery. An algorithm lesson might become a quick VR puzzle where students move digital blocks to test logic in real time. A systems course could transform into a collaborative challenge where classmates work side by side in a shared simulation.

Lessons built hand in hand with faculty

We didn’t just hand over software and walk away. Together with Regent’s instructors, we co-designed 20+ lessons that fit neatly into their existing classes.

That collaboration matters. Too many tools create extra work for educators. These don’t. Every VR session links directly to material that professors already teach. No complicated setup. No steep learning curve. Just another way to enhance existing material and make the content stick.

Keeping it simple and fun

Regent holds onto a clear philosophy: immersive learning should feel light, not heavy. Fun, not stressful. Accessible, not intimidating.

By keeping lessons short and interactive, VR doesn’t come across as a special event. It feels more like a lab demo or a lively group exercise. Students enjoy it. Faculty can drop it into their teaching without rewriting the whole syllabus. That balance keeps everyone moving forward without friction.

Taking the next leap with Zoe Bridge

The rollout of the Zoe App last fall was only the beginning. Regent now gears up for the next step: Zoe Bridge.

With Zoe Bridge, instructors and students can:

  • Build advanced projects through Zoe for Unity
  • Manage and share content across multiple courses
  • Track engagement data to see what resonates

This upgrade brings scale. It turns a handful of lessons into a connected ecosystem where faculty measure outcomes, refine experiences, and share results across the college.

A model for higher education

Regent College London shows what’s possible when technology and teaching pull in the same direction. Immersive tools stop feeling like novelties. They become natural extensions of a professor’s toolkit. Students stay engaged. Faculty stay in control. Learning becomes something you don’t just study—you experience.

That’s not a glimpse of what higher education might become one day. It’s happening now, and Regent is proving how it works.
